From Peas to Genome Databases
From 31 May to 2 June, 2007, leading bioinformaticians will meet in the Czech city of Brno to attend the spring conference of the Gregor Mendel Network Brno-Vienna (GMN). The meeting is devoted to ‘Computational Approaches as Driving Driving Force for Discovery in Life Science’. The venue is the historical Augustinian monastery where Gregor Mendel carried out his experiments on pea plants that eventually led to the discovery of the laws of inheritance.
