The lab of Wulf Haubensak at the Center for Brain Research, Department for Neuronal Cell Biology at the Medical University of Vienna, is seeking a highly motivated administrative assistant/lab manager in neuroscience.

In your position, you will support our team by (i) handling administrative needs of the department and (ii) will participate in laboratory and project management of our neurogenetic and behavioral research lines. You will hold a central position in our team that allows you to actively shape our working environment and contribute to scientific projects. You will have the opportunity for professional specialization in scientific project management.
Ideally, you should have professional education in administration and/or laboratory management experience with proficiency in German and English (B1 level) and electronic data handling (Mail, Word, Excel) with strong organizational skills. Experience in communicating with external service providers and companies as well as knowledge of the SAP, Doxis and Typo-3 systems as well as previous experience in research management (projects, grants) are advantageous.

Expected starting date: November-December 2024, full-time (40 hours) for 1 year with option for permanent employment. The gross salary is according to VwGr IIIb Euro 2958,90 (14x year), flexible pending professional experience.
